The only restrictions we had on this brief was that it should be an A5 size and at least 24pages.
After I had some drawings I started trying to pair them together and also thinking about their sequence in the zine, I did a layout which was adjusted later as new content was added.
I decided to not use the computer at all in this project (with the exception of printing the sheet for screenprinting), so I tried to explore what I could do with a photocopier: enlarging/reducing the images, doing copies of copies (of copies..), using colored paper etc.
For the cover I decided to make use of a finished product related to the theme - a cook book - one page was used for each cover, creating a relationship between the "found object" and the new product and also conveying a relaxed aesthetic which relates to the zine context. This gave a unique feel to every copy as each got its own cover. The title queres vir jantar? ("wanna come for dinner?") was screenprinted in these pages.
